Paula Glenister

It is with great delight that the Playweavers can announce that Paula Glenister will be taking on an honorary role as consultant to the group. Paula’s strengths are many and they lie primarily in writing for theatre. Many will have witnessed her piece ‘The Visitor’, cowritten with Geraldine Garner. A moving piece of theatre, performed for the first time in The Chichester Fringe to a sell out audience. Paula will be an invaluable aid to the team in future productions in helping us to develop our writing and informing us of developments, contacts and the processes that we find along the way in our writing journeys.

Collaborating closely, we blend tradition with fresh ideas to craft compelling theatre. The group was formed out of a superb course at CFT and the inevitable Watts App group led to a dynamic group. whose first goal was to get work on stage. the second. to perform at The Nest, Two years on both goals have been achieved and we march on with more productions planned and a variety of venues are looking forward to hosting our work. The glue that keeps the group together? A passion for theatre and public performance, but most importantly warm friendship and empathy to all
